A remarkable and much sought after succulent with crazy orange-red spined leaves. The deep-green lanced-shaped leaves also have a jagged orange margin. This is a fascinating little Aloe, sometimes known as Aloe ‘Christmas Carol’. It’s slow growing and will send up small pires of reddish pink flowers. An excellent choice for a sunny windowsil, bright room or conservatory and it may be kept outside during the summer months. This is a great addition to your succulent collection.
Plant care
Light
Aloe thrives well in bright indirect Light. Direct sunlight can be fine in subtopical regions where the summer is not too hot.
Water
Follow Drying out in between watering. Excess water can be detrimental.
Soil
The Soil need to be fertile and well drained where there is no water logging. Fertile soil rich in humus can be prepared.
Fertilizer
For potted plants, more frequent applications are necessary, roughly once per month. The best fertilizers to use are liquid 10-40-10 houseplant mixes, or mixes designed specifically for succulents.
